Protest in PoK: The people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) are fed up with the atrocities of Islamabad. Pakistan has been treating them with second class status for many decades. Addressing a rally in Muzaffarabad, political workers of PoK openly expressed their anger and sorrow against the Pakistani army and regime.
According to a report, leader and political activist Tauqeer Gilani, who has been leading the ongoing protests in PoK for a long time, said – Pakistan administration says that they will stand with us and will always fight for the rights of the citizens of PoK. But since the establishment of Pakistan, Pakistan has remained our enemy. He said you can ask the Afghans, you can also ask the Palestinians and you can also ask us about the atrocities that they are doing to us.
Pakistan forcibly occupied PoK- Geelani
Geelani said that the wealth of natural resources remains the biggest threat to PoK, this area has been forcibly occupied by Pakistan since 1948. Geelani also mentioned the atrocities being committed by Pakistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said- Pakistan did not even spare those national leaders who served the country many times. He was declared a traitor and put in jail.
Geelani said that the administration of Pakistan is now engaged in breaking political parties and destroying our cultures and traditions. Pakistan is out to capture land everywhere. He raised questions and said – what kind of administration is this, what kind of democracy is this and what kind of Islam is this. There is no bigger lie than this in the history of mankind.
People of PoK are now more aware-Geelani
Addressing the rally, Geelani said- Today the Pakistani government is not ready to listen to us and give us the freedom that we are demanding. The government here calls us anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam. Pakistan’s intention is only to snatch our rights, but the people of PoK will not tolerate this anymore. People of PoK have now become more aware. We will leave no stone unturned in raising our voice.
